CASA Lite
A semen analysis is one of the basic examinations used to assess male fertility. It provides important information about sperm concentration, motility and morphology.
At GYNEM, we now use CASA Lite (Computer Assisted Sperm Analysis) – a modern digital semen analysis system that combines microscopy with specialised software to provide a fast and objective evaluation of the key semen parameters.
Why can this examination be useful?
✔ Objectively evaluates the basic semen parameters
✔ Assesses sperm concentration, motility and morphology
✔ Provides a clear written examination report
✔ Generates a QR code with a short video showing sperm movement
Thanks to the video recording, you can actually see your sperm in motion.
The examination is performed using a standard ejaculate sample and does not require any special preparation beyond that needed for a regular semen analysis.
How much does CASA Lite cost?
CASA Lite is included free of charge in selected IVF packages:
- IVF Optimal
- IVF with donated eggs
With other IVF packages, CASA Lite can be added at a special price of €50.
The examination can also be performed separately, without IVF treatment, for €150.
Are you planning sperm cryopreservation?
If sperm freezing is also planned as part of your treatment, please inform our team in advance.
CASA Lite cannot be performed on frozen sperm samples.
