How to boost male fertility

You and your partner are thinking about starting a family and want to get pregnant. In order for conception to happen you need to have sex at least a few times a week. The best days of the month are when your female partner ovulates. If you want to increase your chances of becoming a dad, you might wonder if there is anything you can do to become more fertile. This article addresses some of the most significant factors that boost your fertility.

What Is Male Fertility?

Male fertility is the ability to conceive and depends on the quality of sperm cells. Male fertility can be affected by many factors. Some are related to sexual dysfunction, others to sperm quality, and thirds are environmental. Certain lifestyle modifications have been proven to benefit men’s ability to have children.

Manage Your Stress Levels

Stress harms both you and your partner. Besides lowering your libido, it can also harm your testicular function. Testosterone secretion is reduced when males are under prolonged stressful conditions. This affects the production of sperm and its quality. To combat stress it is crucial to learn some stress management techniques, such as meditation and relaxation and apply them regularly.

Ramp Up Antioxidants Intake

Antioxidants lower reactive oxygen series [ROS], which negatively impact sperm cells if elevated. These include albumin, ceruloplasmin, ferritin, vitamin C, vitamin E, beta-carotene, coenzyme Q10, reduced glutathione, uric acid, and bilirubin or enzymes superoxide dismutase, catalase, and glutathione peroxidase. Although studies of antioxidants are inconclusive, there are some promising results [1].

Take A Second Look At Your Diet

High-fat foods can affect reproductive function in men while increased amounts of fresh vegetables and fruit benefit them. The right eating plan to boost fertility is the Mediterranean diet. Consisting of plenty of foods rich in fiber, antioxidants and vitamins, this diet is strongly associated with better sperm count, motility and morphology. Therefore it can increase the chances of getting pregnant.

Don’t Overdo It In The Gym

Moderate exercise can help maintain a healthy body mass index and increase testosterone levels, raising the quality of sperm. However, high-intensity workouts, bicycling, and combat training can all increase the risk of diminished fertility.

Avoid Exposure to High Temperatures

The testicles need to be kept cool to produce viable semen. Wearing loose, breathable fabrics, avoiding too hot environments, taking walking breaks from sitting for prolonged periods of time are some of the ways to prevent overheating.

Check For Any ‘Vices’

Smoking, excessive drinking, and the common use of recreational drugs are all factors that have a negative impact on reproduction. Cigarettes, strong alcohol in large quantities, cocaine, and cannabis damage the quality of the sperm so it is best to stay away from them while trying for a baby.
