Laboratory Techniques
Beyond the standard lab practices that form the core of IVF protocols lies an arsenal of supplementary techniques. While ancillary, these can yet be telling in the final outcome of fertility treatment and can markedly enhance the processes of sperm retrieval and selection, fertilisation, embryo culture and transfer, and cryopreservation. Here is a brief overview of the techniques our lab can put to work for you.

Embryoglue®
Embryo glue is a solution that contains high levels of proteins and hyaluronic acid. The individual components in embryo glue support the embryo's nutrition and help it attach to the uterine wall. Using embryo glue, the embryo affixes where the doctor places it during the transfer. The solution envelopes the embryo and very effectively helps maintain the embryo within the uterine wall.

Embryogen®
For women who have previously miscarried, their embryos may not develop sufficiently under standard conditions. EmbryoGen™ is a special medium containing growth factors that promote healthy embryo development. Thanks to these growth factors, the embryo develops better, thereby increasing the chances of a successful pregnancy.
